As for now JioPhone is called as "INDIA KA SMARTPHONE" because of its popularity and though being a feature phone it can survive in the market. It is made by the Jio with branding LYF. Though it was announced in a meeting held in the late July (21st). It took them for August to release. You can book it now with a SMS or visiting the Jio official website or in to your nearest Jio retailer store.You spend only ₹1500 for this, but it's too less for us and also Mukesh Ambani has also told that it is normally free of cost which, you can get back those ₹1500 after 3 years.
Specifications
JioPhone is a good competitor coming in only ₹1500. Not just that in that price point it has a 2.4"(inch) Q-VGA(SD) display. It is powered with a big 2200mAh Li-ion battery. Supporting only 4G- VoLte it can support a Jio sim only, single sim. It has 4gb of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 32gb. It comes with an Operating System(OS) made by Firefox, which they call Kai-OS.
Not only can it do this it has a both rear camera and front putting it to the pros. It has a 2.1MP rear and 0.3(VGA) front camera that can be used in social media. With an extra feature it has Near-Field Communication(NFC) that supports wireless payment.
The best part of the phone is it comes with built-in Assistant that takes your command. It has internet, Wi-Fi, WiFi hotspot and also have an app store to download apps and games. It is also confirmed that it will have a special YouTube app for it and also might have Whatsapp. Not yet finished it will also get updates over-the-air(ota)and will be updated regularly.
